Fast USB 3.0 connectivity
This enclosure provides a super fast USB 3.0 (backwards compatible with USB 2.0) connection from your computer to ANY 2.5” SATA notebook hard drive or 2.5” SSD (solid state drive). It requires no tools to install the drive quickly and easily.

Note, the first connector on the cable that comes with this enclosure is USB Type-A. If your system only has the much newer style USB Type-C ports, then you can still use this cable by combining it with a USB Type-A to Type-C converter.

Built Tough
Made from solid aluminium, this enclosure is very robust and resistant to scratches. It's built tough with a good amount of weight to it. This particular enclosure uses a ASM 1153E controller, a modern USB 3.0-SATA bridge chip that supports UASP, which provides 20% faster speeds over USB3.0 than standard USB3.0 does.
